Graduate Student Employee Incentives

The campus offers Sustainable Transportation incentives to qualified graduate students who walk, bike, carpool, vanpool or ride the bus, shuttle or train.

Graduate students who are employed by the campus may register for Graduate Student Employee Alternate Commute incentives. Graduate students who are not employed by the campus receive the same incentives as Students

Qualification requirements for graduate student incentives:

Employed by UC Irvine
Work on site at UC Irvine Campus
Actively enrolled at UC Irvine as a graduate student
Do not possess a long term (one month or longer) UC Irvine parking permit

Guaranteed Ride Home

All registered Sustainable Transportation participants may receive a Guaranteed Ride Home in case of illness or emergency. Parking and Transportation Services will arrange transportation to the employee's home or other destination free of charge once every six months.

Guaranteed Ride Home service at the expense of a student, employee or campus department is also available.
