Abandoned Bicycles




Bicycles are often left behind when students graduate or move on to another location for one reason or another. Such abandoned or neglected bicycles are impounded in order to free up rack spaces for other cyclists. The Bike Program will “green tag” suspected abandoned vehicles to give the owner 72 hours before impounding the bike. After the abandoned bike has been impounded for 90 days, it will be donated to Helping Hands of ASUCI (UCI's Student Association) or sold to the UCI Community.
