Appeal a Citation
If you have a valid permit but forgot to display it, your first ticket (one time only!) may be cancelled. Your appeal must be made within 21 days.

First Level Review

  1. Appeal now
  2. Complete an Administrative Review form at the Parking and Transportation Office
  3. Mail-in your request to the address below
All Appeals must include:

  • Citation Number
  • Vehicle License Plate Number
  • Name and Return Address
  • UCI ID Number (if applicable)
Note:
  • Your appeal will be reviewed by a citation review officer who will determine the validity of the citation in accordance with the provisions of parking enforcement policies.
  • Certain violations, such as those written for parking at a red curb or in a disabled parking space without a valid DMV placard or UC Irvine Medical Permit, WILL NOT be waived.
