Parking Permit Reciprocity
UC Irvine and Other UC Campuses
The UC Irvine campus honors quarterly and annual faculty/staff permits from other University of California campuses in our unmarked parking spaces for the purpose of short-term visits. These permits are also valid in most Reserved parking areas after 5:00 p.m. (except those marked "Enforced 24 hours") Monday through Friday and all day on Saturday and Sunday.
Employees and students must purchase their parking permits from the Transportation and Distribution Services Office with authority over the location where they report to work or attend classes.
UC Irvine Campus and Medical Center
As a convenience to employees and students who use parking facilities at both the campus and UCIMC, the reciprocity charts below outline where monthly and quarterly UCIMC permits are valid on campus and where Campus permits are valid at UCIMC. Please note that a vehicle parked on the campus with a UCIMC "B," "FHC," "MED," or "ROP" parking permit must also display a supplemental permit. The supplemental permit may be purchased at a Campus Information/Permit Sales Kiosk or at the Campus Transportation and Distribution Services main office. Daily permits from other campuses are not accepted at the Medical Center.
