Online Transaction Security
  • The security of information transmitted during any electronic transaction is protected by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information we receive.
  • Only the last 4 digits of your credit card are revealed in your confirmation and receipts. The entire credit card number is sent only to the processing company and merchant, and is not accessible to unauthorized personnel.
  • If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any logins and passwords, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your accounts. If you are using a public computer, be sure to log out after using any secure service. (Completion of purchases, citation payments, etc will automatically log you out)
Personal Information

The personal information collected on this Site will be used to operate the Site and to provide the service(s) or carry out the transaction(s) you have requested or authorized. We also receive information on students and faculty from official UC Irvine sources (Office of the Registrar, Adcom Services) to provide a more convenient experience. These datasets are strictly for internal use. Our databases are secure and restricted to authorized users.

Some services on our website offer individuals the ability to publicly display certain personal information, such as for a carpool partner who wishes to publish contact information as part of a bulletin board service. Participation in such services is always optional.

Agents: We employ other companies and individuals to perform some functions on our behalf. The United States Postal Service and processing credit card payments are examples of third party affiliates. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for any other purpose.

We will attempt to resolve all disputes in a timely and fair manner.
