Complimentary Airport Shuttle Service
Shuttle Service to and from UCI servicing John Wayne Airport and the Irvine Transportation Center
Reserve a ride on the Holiday Shuttle to/from John Wayne Airport. To do this:
- Go to www.zimride.com/uci
- Log-in with your netID (UCI e-mail address) and password
- Under "Additional Resources," click on "UCI Vanpool"
- Click on "Admin Loop to JWA" to see the shuttles GOING to John Wayne Airport
- Click on "JWA to Admin Loop" to see the RETURN shuttles from John Wayne Airport
- Click on "More Info" for the shuttle(s) of interest
- To select your shuttle(s), click on "Apply to Join"
- Select the shuttle which will get you to the airport 2 hours before your flight's departure time

| Include train departure time, phone number and e-mail when requesting a ride to the Irvine Train Station. | ||||
- Shuttles will run as scheduled above.
- Space is limited. You need a reservation and confirmation in advance to use the service
- Save money! Taxis cost $15-$20 each way - take the shuttle and save
- Other Transportation Centers: While UC Irvine shuttle service goes only to John Wayne Airport and the Irvine Transportation Center, you can click here for further information on: Amtrak trains, Metrolink trains, or LAX airport.
Policies and Procedures
Departures:
- Shuttles will depart from the flagpole by Aldrich Hall
- The shuttle will drop you off at John Wayne Airport or the Irvine Transportation Center
- Schedule your airport shuttle so that you arrive at least two hours before your flight
- Schedule your train shuttle so that you arrive thirty minutes before your train departure
- Please call (949) 824-RIDE or email rideshare@uci.edu immediately if you no longer want your reservation
Arrivals:
- Airport passengers will meet the UCI Holiday Shuttle at the taxi, bus, and shuttle lanes on the arrival level of the airport. You will need to cross regular traffic lanes to reach this location
- Train passengers will meet the shuttle at Shuttle Bay #7
- Shuttles will return to flagpole by Aldrich Hall
Please have the following information ready when you make your reservation:
- The number of bags you will be carrying
- Your flight information

- If you are planning to leave your vehicle on campus during the break, complete the Vehicle Leave Request
