University Carshare

The University Carshare program offers cars by the hour or by the day for errands, meetings, or just for having fun.

Interested in joining? New members can sign up for University Carshare online. In 5 days, you will receive your membership card and you'll be ready to go. There is no membership fee for UCI faculty and staff. Students joining University Carshare pay a $35 membership fee but receive a $35 driving credit for University Carshare use.

Most vehicles on campus cost $8 per hour and $66 per day, but there are a couple "hourly-only" cars that cost $7 per hour. These rates include the cost of the rental, gas, mileage (up to 180 miles a day) and insurance.
