Incentives

UC Irvine offers incentives to both employees and students who use the train to commute to campus.
Employees who commute by train to the campus and do not purchase long term parking permits (one month or longer) may register to receive a monthly subsidy of 20% off of their monthly pass or their 10-trip ticket. Participants must present a valid UCI I.D. card and original used monthly or 10-trip Amtrak or Metrolink pass each month in order to process the rebate subsidy.

In addition, registered employee participants may receive either an ST Permit (2 days of parking/month).

The ST Permit is valid in general or reserved (except lot 80) parking when one box on the permit is dated.

Employees must register at the Parking and Transportation Services Office to receive these incentives.

Graduate Students who are employed by the university are eligible for the Employee/Graduate Student Incentives. Graduate students who are not employed by the campus may register for Student ST Incentives.
