Parking Citations
UCI Transportation continually strives to operate a parking system that is open, transparent and easily understood. In order to ensure the most efficient use of parking spaces on campus, UCI Transportation has established rules and regulations that are intended to enhance your safety, eliminate confusion while traveling or parking, and help you find the best way to deal with a parking citation.
UCI's parking rules and regulations can be viewed on the Permits page. Parking on the UCI campus is enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you receive a citation and believe it was issued erroneously, you have the right to appeal it.
Our Adjudication Division will work with you to ensure that all citations are issued and resolved in a manner that follows state law and that allows you ample opportunity to file appeals. Adjudication representatives will answer your questions, listen to your concerns, and help ensure that the parking citation was appropriately issued.
Did you know?
Did you know our parking representatives do more than just issue citations? All representatives are trained in campus emergency protocols and have CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications. Also, all enforcement vehicles are equipped with automated external defibrillators.
